Remarks: Decumbent, leafy plant with trifoliolate leaves and conspicuous bracts, small pink flowers, and fruit pods notched between segments. Blooms late summer to fall.
Leaves and fruit covered with tiny hooked hairs which catch on passing fur or clothing.
